About Grimes Record Routes

Grimes County Busted Mugshots is a privately operated reference resource. We organize the official paths for county booking records, custody questions, court follow-up, and public-information requests. We do not host booking photos or a gallery of people.

Why the Official Route Matters

Texas public-records access is not a single database. The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office and Jail Division are the county booking and custody contacts. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is a separate state-custody locator. County and District clerks carry the later case path. A focused public-information request can address a record not shown in a public interface. We put those distinct routes in context so that a person does not confuse a newspaper item or an unofficial listing with the agency record.

Resources Kept in Scope

The county pages point to a small, local set of official sources and explain their limits.

  • The county record path, including custody inquiries, public roster limits, booking requests, and court follow-up.
  • The Sheriff’s official Most Wanted channel and the county’s in-person self-check rule on Most Wanted Fugitives.
  • State, federal, and immigration custody locators, each limited to its own system.
  • City-specific records context for Navasota, Bedias, and Anderson, without inventing city blotters.

What We Cannot Do

We are not connected to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, Grimes County Jail, TDCJ, any court, or another government agency. We cannot make an official custody finding, release someone, or act for an agency.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for anyone.
  • We cannot give legal advice or decide eligibility for legal relief.
  • We cannot guarantee that an agency’s address, fee, or procedure has not changed.

Only the responsible Sheriff, jail, corrections department, or court can confirm current custody, a charge, a release, or a case result.

Search Partner Disclosure

Some pages include a search box operated by a third-party provider. That provider sets its own result handling and pricing. If a partner tool leads to a paid enrollment, we may receive a referral fee that helps support this free reference resource. We do not control the partner’s prices, decisions, or returned information.
